As of 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 7, 17 settlements were left without power, with six of them experiencing partial blackouts. According to Krymenergo, the outages affected more than 6,000 consumers.
Most of the accidents occurred in the Leninsky district and in Kerch. Power outages were also recorded in the Krasnogvardeysky, Kirovsky, and Simferopolsky districts of Crimea.
20 teams of power engineers are eliminating consequences of rough weather, using 20 units of special equipment. Thick snow cover complicates access to the affected areas, but according to the company, the repairs will be completed as soon as possible.
Earlier, a storm warning was issued for the peninsula.
