14 lions escape from national park in South Africa

14 lions escaped from a national park in eastern South Africa on Thursday. Representatives of South Africa’s Kruger National Park urged the public not to approach the lions who escaped from the park. If locals spot the animals, they should contact the relevant authorities.

Limpopo Province is in danger: according to the park employees, who are tracking the animals, the lions have been spotted near the town of Phalaborwa.
At a meeting with the national park representatives, the Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism said the lions would be returned to the park after recapture. Experts are doing everything they can. Local rangers are searching for the animals.
