So far, it has not been easy for spring to make its way to the Zabaykalsky region. The weather has been unstable. Several warm days have been replaced by long cold spells.
The next cold invasion is expected on May 19. The Zabaykalsky region will see precipitation in the form of rain and sleet, at times heavy. Snow cover will be restored in some areas. Winds will increase to 19-24 m/s (up to 25-30 m/s in the southern part of the region). Temperatures will drop by 7-9°C.
At the same time, fire risk is still high in the Zabaykalsky region.
