Very warm and dry weather to continue in Central Black Earth Region until weekend

It may get colder at the end of the week, as an anticyclone’s tropospheric ridge will move east. Due to the intensification of North Atlantic cyclones, there will be more clouds and a higher chance of rain.

So far, September has been record-warm (its temperatures are more typical for mid-summer). The average daily temperature in Voronezh is 4 to 5 degrees above normal. There’s been no significant rain in the capital of the Central Black Earth Region since the beginning of the month; moreover, the city has not seen a decent rain since August 19. In addition, dry and very warm weather increased fire hazard (to the highest level in some areas). The forest in Voronezh Nature Reserve is closed to visitors because of that.
This year, autumn processes have been delayed due to the well-developed Azores High. During the working week, the weather in the Central Black Earth Region will be determined by a slow moving blocking anticyclone. There will be no significant weather changes — it will be sunny and very warm. The mercury will rise to +23...+26 in the afternoon and drop to +10...+15 at night. It may get colder at the end of the week, as the anticyclone’s tropospheric ridge will move east. Due to the intensification of North Atlantic cyclones, there will be more clouds and a higher chance of rain.
